Well, we've reached the end of Season 1 of A Foot In THe Crease. To wrap up the year we have many Leaf notes on Antropov, Battaglia, assistant coaches, and a potential deal for Peca. We also cover many other signings, moves and trades around the league. We feature one last great segment of listener email for the season and Rigamarole looks at who has improved their team the most so far this season.

Sens Underground - Summer Episode 1

Summertime Blues!

It's the Sens Underground "Summer Vacation" edition. Not your typical Underground show. But hey we're on vacation too.

Well there's been a ton of movement in the new NHL. We've lost Chara! Ugh! We've lost Pothier! Crap. But...we've gained...Corvo. And Gerber!

And breaking news... Havlat and Smolinski have been traded to Chicago in a three-way deal with San Jose for Tom Preissing, Michal Barinka, and Josh Hennessy.

Who??? What??? Oh and a second round draft pick. That draft pick makes it worth it....NOT!! We don't know much about these players but one rostered player and prospects for a potential superstar and a solid veteran seems rather weak.

Over the past week the Leafs signed Pavel Kubina and Hal Gill while finally signing a contract with McCabe. Other topics include Yzerman's retirement, the trades and signings around the league, and the woes of the Tampa Bay Lightning in Rigamarole.
