Sens Underground - Episode 20

Hey there Sens Fans...thank God, the Olympic break is over and we're heading fast and furious down the stretch and towards the March 9 trade deadline. Congratulations to Team Sweden for winning Gold, they had a great team with a lot of depth.

Slightly different format this week. As we recap the team Canada games instead of the Sens...

Canada 7 Italy 2
Canada 5 Germany 1
Switzerland 2 Canada 0 ugh!
Finland 2 Canada 0
Canada 3 Czech Republic 2

Quarter Finals
Russia 2 Canada 0

We discuss in depth what the hell went wrong, was it players, coaches, Gretzky, ice size, speed of the skaters...how can we live with this poor performance and what can we do about it!

In "Behind The Jock" we ponder the Sens home run stretch, life without Dominic Hasek and the future return of Martin Havlat. We also discuss possible trades Ottawa might make and the potential impact on the team as well as new NHL rules that come into effect today. And finally, we have a clip of McGrattan on OTR going toe-to-toe with John Nunziata. As always, we read our listener email from around the world plus our listener-favourite segments.

All right folks!!! Grab yourself a "snort" and come along for the ride!!!!

Sens Underground - Episode 19 (The Broadway's Show)

We can't express how much fun doing the live podcast and we want to thank all the folks who came up to join us and the great staff at Broadways.

There were a ton of kids there last night and I think we can safely say we've scarred a few innocent little minds. And really, what more can we hope for?!

Amidst all the silliness, we did do a show and we covered all the usual topics:

A 5-1 loss to the Rangers
A 2-1 loss to the Thrashers
And a 3-2 win over the Flyers

Plus we touched on the Olympics and of course the gambling scandal rocking the NHL. Mac Bitch was nice enough to drop by and of course we had our regular segments. Check out the scrapbook page on the website to see some pictures and videos of the proceedings.

Sens Underground - Episode 17

Episode 17. The "Cuban Episode"

Ola! I'm back from Cuba and one thing I can tell you: when a guy in a hot-tub starts talking about his open lifestyle, it's time to get out and go cigar shopping. I missed a ton of good hockey but my first game back and the Sens crap the bed.

Only 2 games to recap this week:
Ottawa 3 Montreal 0
Boston 5 Ottawa 0

There was a lot that happened this week and we talk about it in our new fan favourite "Behind the Jock". The topics this week include:
The Doug Weight trade, Jovonoski and the Olympic team, the skills competition, and the controversy surrounding Ray Emery.

A reminder of our upcoming show at Broadway's Orleans Blvd in Orleans on February 11. We'll have a couple of tickets on hand to giveaway for an upcoming Sens game, so bring your Leaf hatred...you'll hear why on the show.

And as usual our fan favourites, and listener e-mail. Keep the e-mails coming. We're big all over the world now...
