A Foot In The Crease - Episode 23

Once again we bring you another episode of A Foot In The Crease with some discouraging recaps of the Leafs' games this week against the Habs, the Sabres and the Sens. Who's Hot Who's Not features the Carolina Hurricanes in the Hot Column and unfortunately the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Not Column for the third week in a row. The Redline Report talks about more Leaf injuries, some trades involving Edmonton, Brodeur's new deal, Olympic Team defense problem and the Anaheim's identity crisis. On The Bubble profiles Jay Boumeester and Rigamarole looks at Mario Lemieux and Ron Francis.

This week we also debut a new segment - Defining Moments in Leaf History.

The music featured in this week's episode from the Podsafe Music Network included "Mary Jane" by Baseless, "Hope, Skip and Fall" by Aux and Big Mike, "The Sundial" by Bill deRome and "Crank It Out!" by Ari Shine.

Sens Underground - Episode 16

Sens Underground #16 - The Brian McGratton Episode

What a great week to be a Sens fan. The boys gave us the pleasure of not one, but two Leaf smackdowns.

We recap this week's games:
Anaheim 4 - Ottawa 3 (Shootout)
Ottawa 7 - Toronto 0
Ottawa 4 - Toronto 3

Regular Undergrounder Crazy Ivan decided he'd rather prance around a Cuban beach in his speedo than watch the Sens dominate the Biatch- slapping of Ontario. In his absence we've called up Martin Thornell from Hockeydirt.com sitting in to deliver injury reports, game summaries and clean up the studio after the show.

In addition to our regular Leafs Suck, listener email and player of the week segments this week's topics include Bryan Berard's trouble with tests and Super Mario's decision to retire - again. The Mac Bitch makes her usual appearance and "shares" a little more about Crazy Ivan than anybody needs to know.

Be sure to mark your calendars for our February 11 Live show at Broadway's on Orleans Boulevard in Ottawa's East End.

A Foot In The Crease - Episode 22

This week's episode is a rather depressing one as we recap three abysmal Leaf losses against Ottawa, Minnesota and Colorado. For this the Leafs remain firmly in our Not Column and the New Jersey Devils fill in the Hot side of the equation. Once again we have more extensive Leaf Injury Talk. The rest of the Redline Report looks at some trade issues, drugs issues and issues from Pittsburgh. On The Bubble profiles Andrej Meszaros, and Rigamarole looks at the Leaf's slump.

The music from the Podsafe Music Network used in this show includes "Cleansing Fire" by Quarter To Nine, "Alabaster Queen" by Retail and "Find A Way" by Reid Holmes.

A Foot In The Crease - Episode 21

For this episode we recap the Leaf's games against the Phoenix Coyotes, Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks. Who's Hot, Who's Not makes its return with some high scoring players in the Hot column and an unfortunate member of the Not column. The Redline Report deals with injuries, trades and coaches and also includes a discussion with Scott of the Dallas Stars Podcast. On The Bubble's player profile features Marek Svatos and Rigamarole looks at the changing of the guard in the NHL from past stars to the future heroes.

The music in this show included "A Little Bit More" by Uncle Seth, "Down To Earth" by Mohave and "All of My Bleeding" by Mogul.

In a special segment, we are joined by Ian Kubitza of Hearts of Fire - The Calgary Flames Podcast to discuss the Leafs Flames game from January 6th and other questions surrounding the Flames and Leafs.
