Episode 2.31 of AFITC marks the end of the Maple Leafs season after they failed to make the playoffs despite a valiant effort down the stretch, in the end falling out of the top 8 on the final afternoon of the regular season due to an Islander victory. In this edition of the program, we recap the game this past week against the Rangers, Flyers, Islanders and Canadiens. What To Be-Leaf attempts to put a spin on what transpired this season. We discuss the significance of the Maple Leafs home and road records as the season went on and give our thoughts on what the near future will hold for this team including decisions on Mats Sundin, Michael Peca, Bates Battaglia, Jeff O'Neill, Boyd Deveraux, Travis Green, Yanic Perreault and J-S Aubin: all unrestricted free agents come July 1st.
