A Foot In The Crease - Episode 2.28

We're back in the studio for Episode 2.28 as Jeff makes his triumphant return from the land of fun and sun. Unfortunately, it was not a triumphant week for the Maple Leafs as they picked up only three of a possible six points this past week against really the last of the weaker opponents from here on in, save for the second last home game of the season against the Philadelphia Flyers.

We recap those games against Tampa Bay, Washington and Montreal to kick off the Red Line Report. We update you on the statuses of injured Maple Leafs including Tomas Kaberle, Michael Peca, Carlo Colaiacovo, John Pohl and Kyle Wellwood in the Revolving Door. What To Be-Leaf explains why Mats Sundin and Andrew Raycroft will need to do the brunt of the damage to see the Leafs make the playoffs. We bring a conclusion to the epic Flight of the Penguins Saga when we detail the announcement by Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell that took place this past week. Also, we discuss the punishment handed to Jordan Tootoo for an incident that took place in a game between the Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators on Saturday. Finally we set the odds on who we feel should walk away with the Calder Trophy come the NHL Awards this June.

On The Bubble features more listener email and the third edition of the Babble Of Ontario with Shredder, Russell, and Crazy Ivan from Sens Underground. This one gets heated; you will not want to miss it.

Rigamarole looks at why fans are still not showing Andrew Raycroft any love. There is also another John Ferguson Jr. impression tucked away somewhere in this week's episode!

If you would like to hear Dave give the play by play call of Game 2 of the St. Michael's Buzzers vs Wellington Dukes series this coming Sunday March 25th at 2:00pm ET, tune in by going to www.stmichaelsbuzzers.com and clicking on Live Broadcast.
